Grips for Ice and Snow fit on your shoes or boots and give vital extra traction on slippery ice and snow. They have 6 hardened steel spikes on the soles plus additional grip from the moulded rubber grippers.
The Grips for ice are really useful here in the UK when the going gets tough like last year, but we find them great in ski resorts for xtra grip when used with boots. They can be used on alpine ski boots to get extra grip when touring or just in resort.
That walk back from the apres ski beer or two is well know for being a time when people can slip and hurt themselves, the ice grips can help and give super extra grip in very icy conditions when normal boots just slide, especially true in ski resorts as the evening gets later.
They are really easy to put on and stretch easily from the toe to the heel. These ice grips come with over large plastic mounts on the steel spikes which helps them not to pull through the rubber mounting which is a common problem with these types of ice grips.
We really like these and will make sure that we have them packed and ready to go when we are on the snow this season.
They come in Medium, shoe size and Large shoe size and need to be a good tight fit.
Medium is 5 .5 to 8.5 for shoes, but if your planning on using them on boots we think the cut off point is 7.5 to 8 depending on style of boot, 7.5 for chunky boots
Large is 9 and upwards for shoes, but as mentioned if using on boots then large is from 7.5 for chunky boots and 8 for standard boots like approach boots.
Like our gloves we will post these to main land Europe for our UK delivery charge
